Some of you may already know this, but the classic Godzilla franchise has been placed in the hands of Legendary Films. The company behind the current Batman franchise, the Watchmen, and 300 to name a few. They have stated that the film will be released between 2012 and 2013. They have also made it clear that they will not follow in the footsteps of Sony and the 1998 version of the big G at all. Instead, the focus is on the orignal character touched up a bit fighting another huge creature as it should!! In other words, they want to stay true to the old films. So far they have proven that you don't have to changed things to make them work.
