COD Black Ops has broken many sales records with its release. Numbers wise, it not only out sold other video games, but a few high grossing movies as well. Current sales estimated at $360 million for the first day. I have seen some numbers since this report, but don't have an official word on it. Now of course, one must tread carefully when comparing it's opening sales to movie sales being that the average ticket to a movie is between 7.50 and $10.00, while a new highly anticipated game can easily start at $59.99. So you can get to a high sales total faster, though it is still very impressive to sale such a high number of games @ any price! So props have to be given. Myself, i am more of a Gears of War and occasional Halo type cat, but i will play anything. I just didn't wait in line for this one.
