introducing the TransMaro!!!!

aight this is something i ran across and thought was pretty sweet. There's is a company that uses the New Chevy Camaro, which i think is just a dope remake to the original, and converts them to a larger body version of the old Trans Am, which was a big body muscle and speed car of its time. I really dig some of the remakes in concept and in reality. These run around 80-85 grand, and that includes the actual Camaro, the custom work and whatever you add to it.

Adizero Crazy 8.6.11 Custom

So, the day after the AdiZeros' dropped (June 4th they dropped) i went to try em on and make sure i was feeling them. You know, something can look great on some people, but not so good on you. So i went to check them out, knowing all the while i intended to buy a pair, but in custom colors for a special occasional. My wedding. That's right, no Stacey Adams, all due respect to Stacey, no dress shoes period. Instead, me being the Hard Core Street N.E.R.D.s. i am, i gotta do what feels good to me. I have never been a "dress up" suite and tie type kat, so i spoke with my beautiful bride to be, and she agreed i should rock what felt good to me. Not to compromise, i opted to rock a tux but in a style of my choosing, and for myself and my crew to rock sneakers that flowed in line with the weddings colors. Black and Canary. So, upon checking a few other candidates out, and upon inspecting the D Rose joints, i decided they were the way to go. So i went home, went to the Adidas site, signed into my account, and i customized and ordered my kicks. A little less than 4 weeks later, here they are. Now, i respect Rose, he an play B Ball, he has a commercial with a J. Cole track as well as 2 with the a track from Big Sean, but all that aside, the shoe is just simply pretty dope. No, the idea of a "lite" shoe isn't new. SOme may argue that the technology is just a study of shoes of the past also, but the over all style and feel of the shoe is simply Great.... for me. I don't have your foot so i don't know bout yours. Keep in mind, i rarely buy Basketball shoes. I think Mike (Jordan) is the greatest to have ever played the game, but rarely did his shoes move me to buy them and even now when i can afford them, i still don't desire them. Though the black and red version of these shoes have been compared to Js' they are still different shoes over all. I normally stick to dunks, and what many deem as "skater" shoes, and kicks mostly a few kicks that most over look. But these called out to. I did buy some Iversons when i was younger. BUt any who, I won't go into a lot of talk about them, i just like them and may buy another pair at some point in one of the original released colors if not another custom pair. I also caught sight of a video of Waka (F. Flame) buying some jewels, rocking the red and white pair that was released. Now i am no big time rapper, and i am no hater (not by my standards), but it felt good knowing he had on the "store versions" and i have some customs. Don't get it twisted, for what he was spending on Jewels, i'm sure he has ordered some custom ones, and bought a pair out the store to rock in the meantime, but round my way i am the 1st with a pair in a custom color. Wait til i hit the spots with these!!!!! So above is the opening of the shoe, they came in a super taped up regular box, containing the mi adidas box, which housed the shoes, a pair of inner soles for swapping the comfort, and with a bag to carry the shoes or small items in when you hit the court, or mall, wedding reception. I have always thought she was dope, most only know her from MTV's sweet 16, others know google me. But many don't realize she has been singing and dancing (choreography and all) for a while. She is very talented and i hope things go in her direction with the new situation she has and her music career. I thought she was ahead of her time with "Google Me" and she is probably still ahead of most. Any who, check her out, much respect T..... oh yea, Hard Core Street N.E.R.D. S. we back!!!!

Aight, so i was put up on  the 2nd gen iPads a sec back, but due to being a bit busy, i'm once again late. Sorta. It isn't set for release until March 11th, but leaks of them popped up a few weeks back in a few areas online. Most who are use to it know Apple always "reinvents" whatever they put out to the world. So it should have been no surprise that there would be another model of the iPads. We had what, 4 generations of the iPod touch, and countless models of the iPOD in general. But the shock to some maybe the fact that the new model for the iPad came soOo soon. Honestly, if i had did what i almost did and purchased the 1st gen, like i did with the touches, i would have been upset to see the new one soo soon. Nothing wrong with having the 1st, but the 2nd looks better. It's thinner, its faster with the Duel Core A5 chip (something many people who buy it won't even fully utilize, just like how many who buy Macs don't even use them for what they can do, i visit the Apple store often.... trust me, they are under used by a good portion of those who buy them.... but that's another story), Two cameras for face time as well as iMovie, two color version (black or white), and the fairly cool iPad smart cover. As before these come in a few options on gigs, wifi,  and paid net service. The Smart covers come in a few options, and from what i gather these babies are made of the stuff that Wolverines skeleton and claws are laced in.... that's right, Adamantium!!!!! (Jury is still out on that fact) But either way it is cooler than before, but the original is still cool.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 special edition

Aight you nerds!! So, i fancy myself a gamer. I play everything but came up on fighting games and adventure games. I also fancy myself a comic head. So, when the Marvel vs Capcom series came out, it was an electronic wet dream, which came be dangerous, to me. I owned the second installation to this series on the Sega Dreamcast, a system so ahead of it's time (much like the Sega CD and Saga Channel were) that it failed. I still own my Dreamcast today, and it works. I digress however, the point i mean to make here is that when the announcement came that they were doing a 3rd game and then the visuals, i lost my mind. But i didn't rush out to pre-order. Nor did i think much of the possible special editions that most popular games get. I didn't even research it or think to speak to those in the know about it. WHY!!? i thought. It's rare that the special editions move me anyway. So i let it be. Kept tabs on the release date, and complained about the lack of "TRUE CAPCOM STYLED ART" for all the promo stuff i had seen.... Enter Alvin Lee. A well known master of illustration. If you don't know him, i am sure at some point if you are a gamer, especially in the Street Fighter realm, you have seen his work. If not the check here for recent works. He post a blog about a piece he had done for the game. I loved it and thought, "they should have had him do all the promo work and cover design". Next there is a post from him on how he just found out there was to be a Special Edition Tin case and cover with his art!!!! OH BOY!!! i thought. I rushed to the nearest store, to reserve my copy.... and what do you know.... they aren't selling them anymore. Just the boring old other covers..... sucks. But i reserved it anyway. Point being, stay up on your greatness. That's why you check this blog, lol.

Sony Google TV

 

 

It's honestly a cool concept. I found myself, however asking myself, did i want this casue it was just that necessary in my life.... or did i just want it cause it was cool and would make people think i was on some next level stuff when they came to the office..... well i decided it was the latter. Most have seen the google  tv adds, but many have slept on the Sony version. They offer a different remote and a box to add to your current HD TV  with a built in blu ray player and wifi enabled for $399, or you can buy one of the new Sony Google HD TVs that have built in WiFi ranging from $599-$1399, with sizes ranging from 24 to 46 inches in size. These systems also use the Android market as well. Pretty cool huh, plus it connects with your cable, dish, or direct to search shows, movies etc. But you can watch streamed movies, youtube, vemo, and whatever you normally watch or do on the web in HD. no loss in quality. Put it like this, if your savy enough to watch everything and anything on line, or if you just want to view the web while watching tv in a separate window,  this is for you. Plus it uses your net in home or office, so there are no fees to pay after you get the system. go to Sonny Google TV to get more info and there are vids up with visuals on the quality and different reviews,  so check it out and make your call.
